“Sometimes we hold on tight, but we often hold onto the wrong things.”
Morning, I know some people awake from there slumber disappointed. You didn’t even give yourself an hour to recollect your thoughts, so instead you chose to hold onto something that would effect your health. Why? Because, we often choose to hang on to things that aren’t always healthy for us.
When God gave his only son (John 3:16, KJV), so that we may have everlasting life in what is soon to come he meant all goodness for us. There is no president, no judge, no mayor who can protect your salvation and faith in Jesus Christ.
The world we live in was never designed for happiness and “thanksgiving” all of the time. This was the place designed to give us time to work on ourselves for what is permanent after this life. I understand that everyone might feel flabbergasted by Trump winning presidency, or that people of color might be in for a ride, but just know that there’s always someone far more powerful than the man made from dust!
If anything, hold onto your faith. Lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6, KJV), and know that God is omnipresent (Jeremiah 23:24). Don’t let your fear get the best of you, because you were made in the likeness of Christ Jesus (Genesis 5:1).
Your faith is very important. It’s worth more in weight than some issue that you choose to magnify. Look to God and ask that He leads you. I’m just praying for you all, that you hold onto faith for this next fight. And don’t forget to help those who wise to know our Lord, Jesus Christ!
