Sammy wanted his wife to understand the importance of writing out the vision, although their finances were tight and they were living from paycheck to paycheck. His wife felt that by trying to exercise their faith on getting a new house, that their finances would completely garnish. Sammy prayed about getting his wife to see the better side of what he knew was going to come for them. Does his wife’s cautious behavior make the statement that she might not fully trust God?
Habakkuk 2:2 – “Then the Lord replied, write the vision, and make it plain upon the tablets that he may run that readeth it.”
Many of us are afraid to leap, because we don’t know the unknown. Instead, we wish to play it safe since we know what’s happening in front of us. What if, what we’ve always dreamt of was on the other side? Would we still hold the phobia to jump and get the blessings that has our name on it?
Blessings for us doesn’t expire, but how long do you wait to get over just because of your fear to jump? Stop worrying about what you don’t have, because the truth is that we’ll always be short of the things we need.
Get a journal, write out your goals and dreams. Then, take a step closer to working toward that goal to accomplish it. Make sense of your vision, by speaking life into it that it may come to past. You won’t lose anything by trying!
